It is with sad hearts that we acknowledge the passing of the founder of Ohana Plus, Uncle Clinton Helenihi, Sr. Uncle Clinton, a retired Command Master Chief in the U.S. Navy, was a significant leader for the Hawaiian community in Southern California. His influence and impact on the lives of Pacific Islanders was, and still is, felt all over the country. From SoCal, to Hawaii, to Washington D.C. He was a major influence to Hawaiian musicians through Southern California. He will be sorely missed, but his legacy moves on. Thank you for your dedication and service to your country and community Uncle Clint. Rest In Peace....

Alooooooha! The start of the Friday night luau series at the Kona Kai Resort and Spa is less than a month away. The 2010 series was a great success, and most shows sold out. Get your reservations soon to guarantee your seat. This year Ohana Plus will be joined by a great Hawaiian musician, Mr. Quintinn Holi. We look forward to seeing you! Mahalo nui loa!
